Our sincerest apologies to all of you whose schedules have been thrown around by our delivery truck breaking down. A short recap of our situation. A little over a week ago the truck broke down, the piston was blown, so our mechanic ordered the parts, the parts were delayed a couple days, but realizing the situation we were in, when they came, our mechanic worked through the night and into the yesterday morning and got the problem taken care of. So Dad and I picked it up, loaded the delivery truck that we had rented for a few days from our friends at Pequea onto the trailer, and headed to Lancaster. About 5 minutes down the road, the truck started vibrating and carrying on, so we pulled off and called our mechanic, fuel injector was shot. We had to take Pequea's truck back that day, so once again we're sitting without a truck. Our mechanic fixed the problem last night, took it for a test run, and it was running great. So Henry picked it up this morning, only to have it break down again! Fuel injector #2 was bad. So once again we took it back to the mechanic, and that's where it sits right now. We are trying to keep our sanity as we shuffle the schedule once again and hope and pray that the truck will be good to go for the next 20 years at least when it comes out of the shop. :-/ Thanks for your patience. For those of you that are interested, it's a Dodge Cummins 3500. No hard feelings toward the truck...yet.

Hello everybody!
Well, fall is just around the corner, and with it comes new projects, an increase of furnace sales, and cooler weather. We are also currently building a new office for our Sales Lot in Mifflintown, PA. Here are a couple pictures of the progress.

We also opened a lot in Belleville, PA earlier this year. Here are a couple of pictures:

We are also going to be at the Juniata County Fair from Sept. 1-8. So stop by, and check out the buildings we have on display there, and also the specials we will be running.

Have a good month!

We've recently discovered that an extra 10 minute procedure we've been putting into each of our sheds and garages, is now being overlooked by most storage shed builders! Here's the scoop. When we put our Dura-Temp Wood siding on our sheds, we set our nailers to a little high, keeping the nails heads from going into the siding, creating a way for moisture to get in. we go over it and make sure that all the nails are either hammered in (if they're to high) or caulk them (if they're sunken). Unfortunately, we have been seeing more and more shed builders skip this step all together. So when buying a shed, be sure to check for sunken nails. This also voids the siding warranty.

Fall Open House

Hello all,
Well it seems as if winter is coming up on us faster than we would like to admit. And with that comes our annual Fall Open House. This year we are having it at our Port Royal Sales Lot, November 7-12. We will have a variety of Sales and Specials, especially on our Storage Sheds, and Outdoor Wood Stoves. We are really excited about the all new EPA Approved Hawken Energy GX10 Outdoor Wood Stove, set to come out in November. The cool thing about this stove, is that when you buy it, you not only get a $300 Tax Rebate, but you also get a $2,500.00 Instant Rebate along with it. This makes it one of the lowest prices EPA approved Outdoor Wood Stoves on the Market. For more information, go to www.HawkenEnergy.com. We are also looking for ideas in how you would like to save, so if you have any, please comment below, and we will consider adding them to our list.  Thanks and have a great month, Matt (717) 436-5591

Word of the Month: CUSTOM [kuhs-tuhm]
Definition: Made according to the specifications of an individual buyer
I could tickle, and stretch your imagination going into explicit detail, and using elaborate words and catch phrases explaining why the word this month is CUSTOM, but I'll spare you the energy and time, and make this as effortless as possible.
Here's the scoop. A few months back, we added a very skilled craftsman, and all around builder to our team. He has a lot of experience and knowledge in the area of specially designed buildings and interior work. We also started doing more On-Site Buildings and Cabins, we finished building a 2 Story Barn in Evandale a few weeks ago, and looking to do one in Philadelphia in the near future. So hopefully you're beginning to see why the word right now is CUSTOM. Whether it's an extravagant palace for your pet Chihauhau, or a 24x40 Finished Garage for your Model-T, we can build it! So give us a call, and let us know how we can help. Our Office number is (717) 436-5591 and our email address is tuscinc@centurylink.net
Thanks and have a great month! Matt
